Job summary

The Camp Hill School District is seeking a full-time Study Hall Monitor to support Camp Hill Middle School and High School. This role focuses on supervising students during study hall, taking attendance, and keeping students on task.

Essential duties include tracking attendance, maintaining a quiet study environment, assisting with organization and time management, and enforcing the student code of conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience working with students preferred.
• Ability to communicate with students, teachers and staff.
• Basic computer knowledge of web-based programs and email.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor middle and high school students during study hall periods, including taking attendance and keeping students focused and on task.
• Track student attendance using the SIS and maintain a quiet environment.
• Help students with organization and time management and assist with assignments due.
• Monitor behavior per the student code of conduct and provide supervision in classrooms, library, or cafeteria as needed.
• Develop seating charts and support district safety initiatives.
