Frontage Laboratories Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Study Director for Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) to lead nonclinical DART studies for regulatory submissions.

The role oversees study design, data evaluation, reporting in GLP, and interactions with clients and internal teams. Requires PhD in toxicology (DABT preferred), strong leadership, and experience across fetal development, fertility, and juvenile toxicology. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• PhD in toxicology or related subject; DABT certification preferred but not required.
• Master’s with 2+ years of relevant scientific experience.
• Bachelor of Science with 5+ years of relevant scientific experience.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines and manage multiple projects.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of GLP regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of SOPs and IACUC requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and client interactions/business development.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct nonclinical DART studies for regulatory submissions.
• Data evaluation and reporting in GLP-compliant format.
• Stay current with DART study designs and techniques.
• Provide expert consultations on DART study designs and timings.
• Review external fetal abnormalities and advise on study direction.
• Prepare study methodologies and SOPs.
