Job summary

Frontage Laboratories Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Study Director for Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) to oversee nonclinical studies and regulatory submissions. The role includes directing DART studies, ensuring GLP compliance, and coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The candidate will lead fetal development studies, endocrinology/behavioral toxicity considerations, and juvenile toxicology, with strong emphasis on data interpretation and reporting.

Qualifications

• PhD in toxicology or related subject; DABT certification preferred but not required.
• Master’s with 2+ years of relevant scientific experience.
• Bachelor of Science with 5+ years of relevant scientific experience.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsibilities as a Study Director for regulatory and exploratory toxicology studies.
• Study design and protocol development, data evaluation and reporting in compliance with GLPs.
• Stay current with DART study designs and techniques and suggest ideas for development.
• Provide expert consultations to clients on customized DART study designs and timelines.
• Review and confirm external fetal abnormalities and related findings.
• Prepare study-specific methodologies and SOPs as needed.
