Job summary

Heritage Auctions in Dallas seeks a professional product photographer to capture tabletop collectibles, handbags, comics, jerseys, and more for weekly internet sales, auction catalogs, ads, and magazines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating lighting, composition, and aesthetics is required.

Education in Fine Art or Technical photography and 7+ years in a professional studio are preferred, with the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• A photography education with a Fine Art or Technical degree or the equivalent in practical on-the-job educational experience is required.
• 7+ years of experience in a professional commercial photography studio, including high-end, high-volume, hard-line retail, eCommerce, or advertising studio environments, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Photograph tabletop collectibles, handbags, comics, jerseys, and more that meet the expectations for our weekly internet sales, auction catalogs, ads, and magazines.
• Transition frequently between multiple studio roles/functions as the work requirements demand.
• Individuals must have a well-developed skill set to understand photo direction with the ability to execute lighting requirements quickly and effectively.
