Job summary

Net2Source is seeking a Studio Pattern/Sample maker in Beaverton, OR for a 4+ month assignment. This role requires expert patternmaking, sewing and garment construction, with experience using Optitex, flat patterning, and Adobe.

You will work with the studio team and design partners to engineer patterns to designer vision, cut sew and assemble samples, travel as needed, and contribute to the apparel development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science or related field preferred.
• 5-10 yrs patternmaking and/or sample sewing in apparel industry including development process from inception to production.
• Expertise in patternmaking, sewing and garment construction.
• Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills.
• Experience interpreting design intent and providing alternative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engineer patterns to designer vision and assemble samples at premium level.
• Collaborate with studio team, design, product development partners to meet fit goals.
• Travel for fast-paced projects as needed.
• Contribute to apparel development process with Product Creation teams.
