HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is seeking a Senior Technical Designer (Apparel) in Beaverton, OR for a 6-month contract. Hybrid schedule: four days onsite, one day remote.

You will lead technical design from concept to production, develop Tech Packs, and ensure fit and manufacturability while coordinating with Design, Product Management, Materials, and Development teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of Technical Design experience within apparel.
• Strong knowledge of apparel construction, pattern making, grading, manufacturing, fit evaluation, and product development processes.
• Experience creating and managing Tech Packs, construction standards, and technical product specifications.
• Ability to interpret design intent and recommend technical solutions to improve fit and manufacturability.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design execution for assigned apparel styles from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain Tech Packs, technical specs, grading, construction details, and fit standards.
• Conduct fit evaluations and provide clear construction and fit feedback during development.
• Track prototypes, sample revisions, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Partner with Design and Product Management to translate design intent into commercially viable products.
• Identify and resolve fit, construction, and manufacturing challenges while maintaining product integrity.
• Collaborate with materials, product creation, and manufacturing teams for quality and consistency.
• Monitor product testing and support commercialization activities to ensure production readiness.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and development records throughout the lifecycle.
