Job summary

Flower City Arts Center in Rochester is seeking a skilled individual to assist the Printmaking & Book Arts Director in maintaining the studio environment. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and organizing studio spaces, providing customer service, and leading custom programs.

The ideal applicant has over 3 years of screen printing experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art, and a friendly, flexible attitude. Compensation is $20 per hour for 20 hours a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in customer service and/or teaching.
• 3+ years experience screen printing.
• Knowledge of printmaking and book arts related processes.
• Available to work occasional evenings and weekend hours.
• Friendly, positive attitude, flexibility, team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and organize studio spaces.
• Ongoing Risograph maintenance.
• Customer service and facility tours.
• Teach/facilitate custom programs and private lessons as needed.

Skills

Knowledge of Printmaking and Book Arts

Ability to maintain a clean and safe studio environment

Knowledge of studio arts (drawing, painting)

Cleaning and organization skills

Education
