Glowbar is seeking a Studio Manager to lead a Glowbar location in New York, owning the team, client experience, and business results. You’ll oversee the front desk, drive membership and product sales, and ensure a culture that motivates staff and delights clients.

You will recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team, monitor performance metrics, and manage labor and expenses with an owner’s mindset. This is a full-time role requiring weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive people management experience in a fast-paced service-based industry
• Proven track record of operational and financial success including driving studio margins and growth
• Exceptional leadership presence with ability to hire, train, coach and develop teams
• Management style that balances accountability with empathy to maintain a positive, performance-driven culture
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills fostering trust and collaboration across staff and clients
• Strategic problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to busy periods

Responsibilities

• Own the front desk as a hospitality guru for two full shifts per week plus daily lunch break coverage
• Analyze weekly and monthly performance data to spot trends and opportunities in membership and product sales
• Recruit, interview, and build a team reflecting Glowbar values and standards
• Onboard and train new members; conduct performance shadows and regular feedback
• Maintain studio morale and address friction to sustain a high-retention culture
• Manage studio labor and expenses with an owner’s mindset to protect profitability
• Build Glowbar brand in the market through partnerships and lead generation
• Ensure all studio compliance standards (safety, cleanliness, brand) are met
