Glowbar Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Studio Manager to own and operate a Glowbar location, accountable for the team, guest experience, and business results.

You’ll drive growth through hands-on leadership, manage labor and expenses, recruit and train staff, and build partnerships while maintaining brand standards. The role requires 3+ years of management in fast-paced service settings and weekend availability.

• 3+ years of progressive people management experience in a fast-paced service-based industry.
• Proven track record of operational and financial success, including driving margins and growth.
• Strong leadership presence with ability to hire, train, coach, and develop teams.
• A management style balancing accountability with empathy to create a positive, performance-driven culture.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills across staff and clients.
• A strategic problem-solver who thrives under pressure and manages multiple priorities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Full-Time: 7-day open availability, including weekend days.

Responsibilities

• Own the front desk as a hospitality lead for two shifts per week and daily lunch coverage, close to the client experience.
• Analyze weekly and monthly performance data to spot trends, close gaps, and unlock growth opportunities.
• Recruit, interview, and build a team that reflects Glowbar’s values and standards.
• Onboard and train new members, conduct performance shadows, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain studio morale and address friction to sustain a culture that supports retention.
• Manage studio labor and expenses with an owner’s mindset to protect profitability.
• Champion the Glowbar brand by building partnerships and lead generation in the market.
• Ensure all studio compliance standards (safety, cleanliness, and brand) are met without exception.
