Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Newport, KY is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Lead to energize our on-site studio. You will train and develop the front desk team while delivering outstanding member experiences.

You’ll balance sales goals with service, greet members, handle admin tasks, and help keep the studio running smoothly with passion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-facing, sales-driven environment (fitness industry a plus!).
• People-first mindset with a passion for health, wellness, and community.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and develop a high-performing front desk team.
• Monitor performance, provide real-time coaching, and foster growth.
• Deliver feedback to coaches to improve member experience.
• Handle member concerns with care and provide quick solutions.
• Build relationships with members and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead by example to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Motivate staff to maximize leads and close memberships.
• Greet members, learn their stories, and be a trusted contact.
• Process membership paperwork and resolve billing issues.
• Keep systems accurate and behind-the-scenes operations running smoothly.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Develop the Front-of-House Team
  • Train, mentor, and develop a high-performing front desk staff to provide top-tier service

• Be the Go-To for Member Support

  • You'll be the face our members see most - greet them with energy, learn their stories, and become a trusted point of contact
  • Keep the studio running smoothly and lead with passion, positivity, and professionalism
• Manage Admin & Account Tasks
  • Own the details: process membership paperwork, resolve billing issues, manage class declines and unpaid sessions
  • Keep our systems accurate, up-to-date, and running efficiently behind the scenes
