PUR E PHYSIQUE LaGrangeville & Beacon is seeking a Studio Manager to drive the Beacon studio's day-to-day success with a hands-on leadership approach.

This role blends client coaching, sales, team management, and operations while learning our systems and maintaining standards across both locations. You’ll shape member experiences, grow revenue, and build strong relationships with the team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coach 30-minute workouts, develop clients, and build retention.
• Own sales, follow-ups, and strategy calls to grow membership.
• Hire, onboard, and train staff; lead weekly meetings.
• Oversee daily operations, cleanliness, and systems compliance.
• Coordinate trainer/client schedules and studio coverage.
• Monitor KPIs, payroll, and operational priorities.
• Ensure exceptional member experience and onboarding.
• Collaborate with LaGrangeville for standardized practices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Studio Manager is the owner’s right hand and the driving force behind the day-to-day success of our Beacon studio.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining client coaching, sales, team management, and studio operations. Initially, you’ll spend significant time coaching workouts and building relationships while learning our systems and leading daily operations. Over time, you’ll take increasing ownership of sales, team performance, member retention, and overall studio results.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, pays attention to detail, and follows through. You don’t wait to be told what needs to be done—you take ownership and make it happen.

You’ll also collaborate with our established LaGrangeville studio to share best practices and maintain consistent standards across both locations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Coach & Develop Clients: Lead 30-minute small-group strength workouts, coach proper technique, adapt exercises to individual needs, and build relationships that drive results and retention.
• Own Sales & Growth: Manage lead follow-up, conduct discovery and strategy calls, convert prospects into members, and help the studio consistently meet its membership and revenue goals.
• Team leadership: Hire, onboard, and train new staff; run weekly staff meetings; give clear expectations and feedback.
• Operations & procedures: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, maintain a clean and organized studio, follow established systems, and proactively address issues before they become problems.
• Scheduling & coverage: Maintain trainer and client schedules, coordinate coverage, address client needs, and accurately manage memberships and studio tasks using our in-house applications.
• Drive Performance: Monitor key performance indicators, track payroll and operational priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience: Manage client communication, address concerns, support onboarding, and proactively improve retention and satisfaction.
• Cross-Studio Collaboration: Work closely with the LaGrangeville Studio Operations Leader and team to align procedures, communicate updates, support team development, and ensure continuity across both locations

As you grow into the role, you’ll assume greater responsibility for the studio’s people, sales, operations, and overall business performance.

• Available to work a full-time schedule and be able to respond to occasional off-hours needs, coordinate coverage when unexpected issues arise, and provide the flexibility needed to keep studio operations running smoothly.
• Interested in building a long-term career in studio leadership and business management.
