Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Lead-Studio to mentor and lead the Studio Fitness team across Studio, Cycle, Yoga and Signature Group Training within a Life Time location.

You will model excellence, guide coaches, and help drive club performance while building a strong community around branded programs. In this hourly role, you will oversee scheduling, participate in hiring, and help manage budgets and participation targets, while ensuring a premier member experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager on hiring and onboarding of new performers.
• Assist the General Manager in managing studio budget and achieve goals.
• Ensure members experience an artistry level customer experience.

The Lead-Studio will serve as a role-model for the team of performers and coaches, managing department goals and budgets, delivering best “branded” programs, driving and contributing to overall club performance, and building communities

Position Summary

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors fitness performers, providing daily supervision, monitoring class performance, providing performance feedback, and ensuring the team is aware of company policies, protocols, and expectations.
• Optimizes and manages the working schedules of direct reports, and the class schedules of club Studio, Cycle, Yoga, and/or Signature Group Training offerings
• Teaches 7-10 classes/week in order to assess and modify Life Time’s class offerings and schedules as needed.
• Works with the General Manager to scout and interview new team members, managing the onboarding process for new performers.
• Assists the General manager in managing the studio budget, and delivers on company and club-specific business goals, including those related to target participation expectations, schedule optimization, and performance goals
• Ensures members experience an artistry level member experience

Position Requirements

• Teaches both Small Group Training and Large Group Training classes
• National Group Fitness and/or Yoga Certification
• Fitness and Nutrition Certification
• 2 or more years of leadership or managerial work
• Proven successful collaboration with team members
• Proven background in building high performing teams, with the ability to mentor and cultivate the career path of team members
• Familiar with managing a budget and staff and offering schedules

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $30.75 and pays up to $41.25, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on business performance.
