Job summary

QVC Group is seeking a Kitchen Utility/Dishwasher to support the studio kitchen in daily operations and ensure cleanliness and sanitation. The role reports to the Studio Kitchen Supervisor and requires communicating needs and maintenance needs daily.

Responsibilities include overseeing cleaning of equipment, maintaining cleanliness of workspaces, and assisting in inventory and cost-reduction efforts. Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a diverse kitchen environment.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available Tuesday night to Wednesday morning and Saturday night to Sunday morning (peak food days).

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with the Studio Kitchen Supervisor about kitchen users, food preparation, supplies and equipment.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, dishes, pots, pans, workspaces, utensils, walk‑ins, floors and walls.
• Assist in food utilization to lower costs, cross‑utilize inventory, and reduce waste.
• Support the Inventory Control Chief by breaking down daily inventory deliveries and properly wrapping and storing supplies.
