Job summary

VASA Fitness in Phoenix is seeking a Team Lead for Group Fitness & our STUDIO program. You will oversee class programming, talent development, and member engagement to deliver high-energy, effective, and inclusive workouts.

With 3+ years of group fitness teaching experience and relevant certifications, you’ll build competitive schedules, mentor instructors, and help the club hit KPI goals while ensuring a safe, welcoming space for members and staff alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching group fitness or boutique fitness classes (bootcamp, HIIT, yoga).
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology OR NCCA-accredited Certification required (renewal within 30 days if expired).
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• General knowledge of kinesiology, exercise science, strength & conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent to deliver STUDIO and Group Fitness programs.
• Building class schedules that are competitive, on-trend, and convenient for members.
• Meeting and exceeding club KPI goals by driving attendance and coaching instructors on performance.
• Delivering a world-class member experience by keeping spaces clean, safe, and fully equipped.
• Regularly attending classes to mentor instructors with actionable feedback.
• Facilitating quarterly STUDIO RED trainings and practice sessions for continuous improvement.
• Creating an approachable, community-driven environment for instructors and members.
