Job summary

Afflatus LLC is seeking a Studio Director to lead the studio and manage 3+ management teams and a staff of 10–15 professionals in Oakland, CA. The role oversees approximately $3M in annual studio fees and may handle 3–5 projects with net fees ranging from $1M to $1.5M each year.

Responsibilities include studio operations, client development, project quality, staffing, and financial performance. The candidate should have extensive multifamily architecture experience and a proven leadership track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited Architecture or Interior Design program.
• 20+ years of professional experience.
• 10+ years of management/leadership experience.
• Licensed to practice Architecture in California or the applicable state.
• Recent Multifamily Architecture experience — MANDATORY.
• Strong multitasking, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
• Positive and collaborative leadership approach.
