Job summary

Club Athletic in Chicago is seeking a Club Manager for our Old Town location to lead daily studio operations, ensure high-quality coaching, and reinforce a strong community presence. You will balance hands-on coaching with systems, schedules, and member engagement to drive retention and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, high standards, and leadership growth, reporting directly to the Dual General Manager and advancing AC brand values across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• NASM-CPT or equivalent certification is required.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
• 2+ years of coaching or customer-facing experience in fitness, hospitality, or a similar industry.
• Full-time availability with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, stand for extended periods, and lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Quality Coaching & Maintain Coaching Standards across ~8–10 classes per week.
• Support the Dual General Manager by ensuring sessions meet AC coaching standards.
• Provide real-time feedback to coaches and identify development opportunities.
• Assist in shadow sessions for potential coaches and give structured feedback.
• Lead team-building sessions and coach Training as required.
• Manage daily studio operations, scheduling, inventory, and administration.
• Report operational performance and member feedback to the Dual General Manager.
