Job summary

Allied Works Studio in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Studio Assistant to join our team. You will handle reception, coordinating meetings with the NYC office, and support general office operations, including archiving and data management.

You will assist principals and staff with administrative tasks and contribute to marketing materials production. The role requires proactive, organized individuals with excellent communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with staff of all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated, professional, and able to self direct.
  • Ability to anticipate administrative tasks and needs beyond what is defined.

Responsibilities

  • Reception duties - including answering phones, greeting visitors, accepting and distributing packages, etc.
  • Frequent communication with the AWA NYC Office staff regarding meeting coordination, staff-support needs,
  • Oversight of general office areas including stocking of all supplies, facilities management, printer/plotter supplies and servicing, etc.
  • Coordinate general office meetings, internal office events and special events
  • Assist with maintaining the office internal and external contact lists, project archives, and other data entry
  • Oversee all shipping and tracking needs for the office
  • Assist Principals and architectural staff with various administrative tasks and errands as needed
  • Support marketing and business development efforts including production of printed and digital materials

ALLIED WORKS — PORTLAND STUDIO ASSISTANT

Allied Works is seeking a full-time Studio Assistant to join our Portland, Oregon office. We are looking for a Studio Assistant who is comfortable with demanding deadlines, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and seeks to join a team that is committed to the creation of beautiful, moving, and meaningful work.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Experience in an architecture, design or communications related field is desired, but not required
