Mercer University is seeking a Studio Assistant for the Art Department to support studio courses across Ceramics, Sculpture, Photography, and Painting. Responsibilities include mixing clay, organizing tools, and keeping studios clean while assisting professors as needed. The role is on-campus, on-site, with up to 8 scheduled hours per date.
Pay is $10.00 per hour. Start date is 09/01/2026 and end date is 05/08/2027.

Job Title: Studio Assistant - Art (Open)
Studio Assistant for Art Department studio courses to include the following disciplines: Ceramics/Sculpture/Photography/Painting.
Assist in mixing clay, organization of tools and materials, clean studios and assist professors as needed. May also help with general office tasks as needed. Must be self-motivated, able to follow detailed directions and work independently. Must be able to lift 50lbs and not mind getting dirty.
$10.00 hourly
