Job summary

Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire seeks a student worker to assist the vehicle mechanic with fueling campus vehicles, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and snow removal. You will help with repairs and routine maintenance as directed.

Must be available for early mornings, 7am–9am on weekdays, and prepared to learn basic automotive maintenance skills that help you in daily life. Federal Work Study (FWS) students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• General familiarity with vehicle maintenance is helpful.
• Must have a minimum of three years of driving experience and pass the University Safe Driving Certification program.

Responsibilities

• Fuel campus vehicles and clean interior and exterior surfaces.
• Clear snow from vehicles and assist with repairs and regular maintenance as assigned.

Job Summary:

Assist the vehicle mechanic with fueling university vehicles, cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, clearing snow from vehicles and assisting with various repairs and regular maintenance, as assigned by the mechanic . Automotive maintenance skills are a valuable part of living on ones own. These skills can transfer and serve you throughout your life. Must be willing to work early mornings during the week from 7am to 9am.

Experience and Qualifications:

• General familiarity with vehicle maintenance helpful, but not required.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience and pass the University Safe Driving Certification program.

Typical Schedule:

Mondays through Fridays, early mornings 7am to 9am.
