Students Acting to Make a Difference (SAMD) is a student run club that annually produces a fall musical. As the Director of the show, responsibilities include:
The SAMD Director is expected to be present for all rehearsals, tech week, and performances.
The Director of SAMD should have a student-focused philosophy and work to create an inclusive environment for all students involved in the production.
This year the anticipated SAMD Show is Freaky Friday. Auditions take place at the end of August with rehearsals beginning immediately thereafter. The ideal candidate will be available during the Spring of 2026 to engage in production planning with the SAMD Board and faculty advisor.
