Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Enrollment verification required.
• Writing samples required with application.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in journalism, writing, public relations, or related field.
• Clear, accurate writing on deadline; ability to conduct and transcribe interviews.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reporting: interview alumni, faculty, and students; draft profiles, features, and news items; draft admissions correspondence and recruitment emails; draft blog posts and social media copy.
• Digital content: post and update content using the University CMS; audit pages for accuracy; assist with photo selection and captioning.
• Research and data: compile contact data; maintain source lists and track outreach records; update alumni in the College's database.
