Job summary

Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA seeks a Student Worker to assist in maintaining a clean, safe weight room environment. You will check in students, return weights, assist in cleaning machines, loan balls, and help enforce facility rules. Must be enrolled at DVU and authorized to work in the United States.

On-site, hourly compensation of $10.00. Prior knowledge of the weight room is preferred; training on equipment and safety procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility

Responsibilities

• Check in all students and ensure that only DVC students/faculty/staff are using the facility
• Put loose weights and dumbbells back in racks
• Assist in cleaning all machines
• Loan out recreational balls to students and retrieve them
• Walk through gym to ensure coherence to facility rules
• Contact security to close the facilities in the evening
