DelVal is seeking a Student Worker in the Dean of Students office at the Doylestown campus. This part-time role supports front-line student inquiries and performs clerical tasks to help campus operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting students, parents, and staff, providing information about campus activities, overseeing locker sign-ups, assisting with the Caesar’s Cupboard pantry, and handling check-out of residential keys with discretion.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Delaware Valley University student.
• Authorized to work in the United States with valid documentation.
• Part-time availability for student employment.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions from students, parents, visitors, and staff.
• Provide information about campus activities and events.
• Maintain trip and commuter locker sign-ups.
• Help maintain activity bulletin boards across campus.
• Fulfilling orders and inventorying stock for Caesar’s Cupboard food pantry.
• Managing student residential lock-out cases in Maxient system.
• Assisting in check-out and return process for residential keys.
• Discretion and confidentiality are expected.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $10.00 To $10.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

Student employees in the Dean of Students office work to provide strong customer service experience to students, faculty, staff, and guests who interface with our departments. Student employees are knowledgeable about key campus resources to provide support. The positions includes a combination of clerical and administrative support tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answering questions from students, parents, visitors, and staff who visit the office
• Providing information about activities and events
• Maintaining trip and commuter locker sign-ups
• Helping to maintain activity bulletin boards across campus
• Fulfilling orders and inventorying stock for Caesar’s Cupboard food pantry
• Managing student residential lock-out cases in Maxient system
• Assisting in check-out and return process for residential keys

• Other duties as assigned

Education Employment eligibility:

• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
