Florida Polytechnic University invites applications for a Student Worker - Makerspace to join our Makerspace team. The role includes staffing during operating hours, assisting with afterhours programming, keeping the space clean, and supporting workshops and events.
You will help create, develop, and implement programs, manage check-in/check-out of materials, and assist users with supplies and equipment while upholding safety standards.

Student workers staff the Makerspace. This position will require some lifting and ladder climbing on occasion while stocking or inventorying the Makerspace. It will also require some event/workshop planning and implementation.
This position requires a criminal background check. This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
The work schedule for this position will be discussed with the hiring manager, depending upon the student’s class schedule. Thursday and Friday availability is a plus.
$14.25 hourly.
