Job summary

Devereux Center for Effective Schools is seeking a SAP Liaison to provide prevention, intervention, and referral services within local school districts in Montgomery County. The role involves working with students, families, educators, and community providers to address mental health, substance use, trauma, and barriers to student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social/behavioral field.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health, human services, education, or related experience.
• Valid PA driver’s license and ability to travel between school locations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Required clearances: Act 33/34, Act 168, PDE, and DPW/FBI fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, intervention, consultation, and referral services to students participating in SAP.
• Conduct behavioral health screenings and facilitate psychoeducational groups.
• Connect students and families to community resources; collaborate with school teams and providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure program compliance.
• Build strong relationships with educators, families, and community partners.
