Job summary

Montgomery County Educational Service Center in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Prevention Educator to join the Prevention Team within the Integrated Support Services Division. The role delivers prevention and postvention programs and mental wellness services to students, staff and families across Montgomery County & surrounding schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and/or a prevention specialist certification.
• Fingerprints/criminal records check clearance (provided by MCESC).
• Desire to support positive prevention programming for local youth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specified prevention program curriculum and postvention services.
• Collaborate with local districts to coordinate, implement, and assess prevention programs.
• Provide programming to students across various age and grade levels.
• Assist with additional prevention-related initiatives as necessary.
• Pursue continuous training and professional development in prevention and SEL.
