Loyola Marymount University is seeking a dedicated case manager to support students facing significant personal, behavioral health, and basic-needs challenges. You will manage a caseload, develop individualized support plans, and coordinate with campus partners to ensure coordinated care.

The role emphasizes FERPA compliance and proactive resource navigation. The position involves collaboration with Student Psychological Services, Student Health Services, Public Safety, Housing, and Disability

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, College Student Personnel, Higher Education, or a related field.

Mansioni

• Serve as a primary case manager for students with personal and behavioral health concerns; develop individualized support plans and follow up.
• Maintain a comprehensive caseload and prioritize cases by need, risk and acuity.
• Maintain electronic case records of all activities and communications.
• Support students navigating medical/personal leaves and academic interruptions; coordinate with campus offices.
• Provide transition and postvention support for returning students after health events.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support coordinated care and continuity of services.
• Participate in routine case consultations and urgent meetings as needed.
• Assist students and families in navigating university resources consistent with FERPA.
• Provide families with resources and manage communication and family dynamics as appropriate.
• Facilitate FERPA-permitted communications among students, campus departments, families, and emergency contacts.
• Build relationships with university departments and community providers; connect students to external resources when needed.
• Support campus-wide initiatives and educational campaigns for student wellbeing.
• Assist LMU colleges, faculty and staff with referrals and coordinated care.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as requested.
