Job summary

Office of Student Affairs invites applications for the position of Student Counsellor. You will join the Wellness and Counselling Centre to provide confidential psychological services to students.

The appointee will conduct risk assessments, crisis interventions, and coordinate developmental programmes while promoting psychological health and wellbeing on campus. Strong communication in English and Chinese is essential, with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology or Social Work.
• Registration, accreditation, or full professional membership with a recognized professional body.
• At least three years of relevant post-qualification professional experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for student wellbeing, a self-driven and proactive attitude, and a strong team spirit. Experience in working with university students and/or young adults is an advantage.
