Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Student Voice and Leadership Specialist to expand and improve Student Voice Committees district-wide. You will coach teachers, principals, and students, and support the District-wide Student Voice Committee program.

The role is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Manager of Student Voice & Leadership, and involves training, collaboration, and professional learning across CPS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate issued by ISBE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Student Voice Committees across CPS.
• Expand opportunities for SVC across schools.
• Co-design and facilitate professional learning for SVC students, facilitators, and administrators.
• Ensure professional learning helps SVC facilitators build intergenerational spaces and collaboration.
• Lead district-wide student voice initiatives and partnerships across CPS.
