Job summary

OSU's College of Engineering Marketing and Communications team is seeking a creative student Video Producer & Editor to develop engaging video content about engineering stories, programs, research, and student experience. You will help produce videos from idea to final cut under mentorship from the team, building a portfolio of real OSU work.

This role offers a flexible schedule for enrolled students, with opportunities to learn Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and to gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
• Some experience creating video projects through coursework, student organizations, personal projects, freelance work, internships, or previous employment.
• Some experience editing videos and willingness to learn Adobe After Effects.
• Interest in learning Adobe After Effects and creating basic graphics, animation, or motion design elements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to video projects from concept through final cut with guidance from the Marketing and Communications team.
• Help shape creative approach, plan and support shoots, film interviews or B-roll, and edit the final piece.
• Build a portfolio of projects showcased in your future career.
