Job summary

Owensboro Public Schools seeks an OPS Student Worker/Student Tutor to assist in routine clerical and classroom tasks under supervision. Duties include data entry, filing, mail delivery, and supporting teachers and students with activities.

Qualifications

• Students must be at least 14 years of age and have completed the 9th grade.
• Must be enrolled with OPS and in good standing academically and behaviorally.

Responsibilities

• Data entry.
• Filing and pulling material to establish files.
• Delivering mail and supplies.
• Operating office equipment.
• Assist in planning/delivery of activities/lessons for children.
• Participate in activities planned for children.
• Participate as a team member with other student workers and District Staff.
• Perform all other functions as deemed necessary by the Teacher/Director/Principal.
