The role emphasizes organizational excellence, safety, and compliance, supervising staff and collaborating with HR while ensuring timely reporting and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with transportation operations: scheduling, dispatch, fleet maintenance (training provided).
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train and evaluate staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with employees, students, parents, and district personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing daily transportation operations including dispatch and routing support.
• Manage driver and aide scheduling, coverage, hours, and overtime in coordination with the Operations Manager.
• Maintain communication with district staff, parents, and school personnel.
• Supervise and support field staff, including interviewing, training, and evaluating performance in partnership with HR.
• Monitor compliance requirements, attendance, and personnel documentation.
• Ensure accurate completion of timecards, payroll docs, and required reports.
• Respond to incidents, complete video reviews, and file insurance claims as needed.
• Support safety initiatives, training, and on-going meetings.
• Assist with short- and long-term operational planning.
• Back-up to drivers and aides as needed, including on-call rotation.
