Job summary

VTC Bus Corp. is seeking a dedicated SUV Driver to join our student transportation team, operating a company-provided SUV with a regular (non-CDL) license to transport students to and from school and activities while actively enrolled in a training program toward endorsements.

Join our team to help safely transport children, build connections, and contribute to the community. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean vehicle, and progress toward licensure through ongoing

Qualifications

Valid regular (Class D) driver's license.
Clean driving record and strong attendance.
Commitment to completing training and obtaining Passenger (P) endorsement.
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
Professional, reliable, and student-focused.

Responsibilities

Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules.
Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior.
Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors.
Complete required trip documentation and incident reports.
Learn and apply student transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Demonstrate steady progress toward licensure and professional development goals.
