Job summary

Watershed College seeks an experienced school bus driver to transport students and staff to and from campus and on activities. The role requires a clean driving record, ability to follow routes on time, and strong interpersonal skills.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience driving a school bus, plus valid licensing and safety certifications. A punctual, safety-focused professional who can engage with students and parents is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 O’ Levels including English Language.
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License & Re-test.
• Valid Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and staff to and from school and to various destinations for activities.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus/vehicle at all times.
• Obey all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform inspections of the bus/vehicle before and after each route.
• Assist students with loading and unloading onto the school bus/vehicle.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus/vehicle when required.
• Resolve emergency and non-emergency situations that occur during travel and trips.
• Build rapport with both students, staff and parents. Be personable and presentable to College stakeholders.
• Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings.
