Job summary

Waterford School seeks a part-time Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from campus, field trips, and events. The role reports to the Transportation Supervisor and requires reliability, safety focus, and the ability to work with students of all ages.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL, maintain a clean driving record, and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening. Training for additional endorsements is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Valid CDL; Waterford will provide training for additional endorsements.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must pass a full background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Previous bus driving or professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Drive a school bus for field trips, athletic events, and other activities.
• Follow all School policies and transportation and safety regulations.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for students while operating School vehicles.
• Promptly report vehicle, maintenance, safety, or student concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain assigned schedules and communicate transportation delays or concerns as needed.
• Report to the Transportation Supervisor and complete other assigned transportation-related tasks.
