Job summary

Kyrene School District is seeking a FIT Driver to transport homeless children between district schools and shelter locations. Responsibilities include driving, inspecting, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring student safety, and preparing necessary reports. Candidates must have a Driver's License, current First Aid and CPR certification, be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card. The role is part-time with hourly compensation of $16.21 and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a Physical Performance Test is required.
• Must have a valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive district vehicles transporting students.
• Inspect vehicle and report discrepancies.
• Clean vehicle interior and ensure proper maintenance.
• Maintain safety and monitor students' behavior during transport.
• Prepare and maintain required reports.

Skills

Driver's License (class D)

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Ability to monitor student behavior

Experience with vehicle maintenance
