Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students to and from school using Zūm’s technology platform.

You will operate vehicles, follow routes, and maintain a safe environment for children while adhering to all policies and regulations. Qualified candidates have a minimum age of 21, a high school diploma or equivalent, and either a valid CDL with P and S or a driver’s license with 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements; 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101).
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle (WAC 392-144-101).
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report any issues.
• Maintain and follow routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.
• Create a safe, positive environment by managing student behavior and ensuring all passengers’ safety.
