Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is hiring a school bus driver to transport students safely to and from school using Zūm's technology platform. You will follow routes, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain professionalism and punctuality to ensure on-time arrivals.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, the ability to work split shifts, and strong communication with students and staff. CDL training is provided for non-certified drivers, with opportunities for growth and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements plus state requirements and 5+ years driving experience in passenger vehicle (WAC 392-144-101).
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver's license with 5+ years driving experience in passenger vehicle (WAC 392-144-101).
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report any issues.
• Maintain and follow routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.
• Create a safe, positive environment by managing student behavior and ensuring all passengers' safety.
