Fort Mill School District is seeking a candidate to assist in the safe transportation of students. The role requires a high school diploma and physical capabilities to handle various tasks, including operating lifts for wheelchairs. Responsibilities include maintaining discipline on the bus, assisting the driver, and ensuring a positive environment for students. This position offers 180 contract days per year, with salary based on experience and education.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to address the needs of students.

Responsabilidades

• Assist driver in operation of lifts for wheelchairs.
• Maintain positive student conduct on the bus.
• Complete all paperwork required by the school district.

Conocimientos

Ability to assist the public with tact and enthusiasm

Genuine passion for working with children

Physical dexterity and mobility

Ability to handle and secure wheelchairs

Ability to pass CPR and Diastat administration courses

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent
