Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Student Manager for Track & Field/Cross Country to support daily operations, practice setups, laundry, and equipment inventory on campus in Austin, TX. The position is fall 2026 through spring 2027, with evenings and weekends required and potential travel with the team.

Candidates must be current UT Austin students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester.

Responsibilities

• Support the Track & Field/Cross Country Equipment Manager with daily operations of practice and competitions, including setup and breakdown.
• Assist with processing laundry and inventorying equipment and apparel (uniforms and practice gear).
• Ensure equipment and apparel meet safety standards and are properly functioning.
• Maintain organization and inventory of equipment and apparel in equipment rooms.
• Occasional travel with the team.
• Perform other duties as needed and uphold Texas Athletics core values.
