Job summary

Texas Sports Academy is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to manage the operational rhythm of student-athletes' day at our Lake Travis campus in Austin, TX. This on-site role emphasizes proactive engagement and coordination with Coaches to ensure smooth transitions between academic blocks and training sessions.

You will work part-time (20 hours/week) with a long-term contractor arrangement through Crossover, earning $30/hour ($30,000/year for 20h/week, 50 weeks).

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or supervising children aged 5-14 in structured environments.
• Ability to organize people and materials under time constraints.
• Willingness to work on-site at Lake Travis campus in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement between academic blocks, training sessions, and workshops (approx. 30% of time).
• Set up materials prior to each session and verify alignment with Coach instructions before students enter.
• Support student engagement during the two-hour academic block and afternoon training with TSA-approved methods while preserving instructional continuity.
