Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma’s LX Studio seeks a Student Techceptionist to blend customer service, technology support, and event execution for classes, trainings, and corporate programs. You will be a front-line representative, handling tech setups, troubleshooting, and space management for in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions, while documenting issues for continuous improvement.

The role is FWSP, part-time (20–25 hours weekly) with a requirement for one evening shift and one weekend shift,

FWSP-eligible student enrolled at UCO
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to learn technology and adapt
Able to commit 20–25 hours per week with one evening and one weekend shift

Responsibilities

Support faculty, instructors, facilitators, and clients in delivering seamless in-person, hybrid, and virtual classes, trainings, and events.
Provide in-class tech setup, troubleshooting, and classroom readiness.
Serve as front-line contact for students, faculty, and guests.
Set up and reset classrooms and spaces for courses and events.
Troubleshoot classroom and conferencing tech, incl. video, audio, connectivity.
Assist with live classes, events, and trainings.
Maintain LX Studio spaces between classes and events.
Report technical/facility issues promptly to supervisors.
Document common issues and solutions for improvement.
Provide light administrative support.
