Job summary

Job Description: This recruitment will be used to fill 1 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) student job for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU). We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant (TA) for BA275 - Foundations of Statistical Inference for the upcoming academic year (2024-2025). As a TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and comprehension of statistical concepts. Pay rate for this position is $16.55 per hour.

Preferred

• Taken BA275 with Katie Jager and has earned and A- or above.
• Currently a Business Analytics major or is earning a statistics minor
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions/Schedule

The TA position is for the duration of the 2026-2027 academic year starting Fall Term (some training may start prior to the end of spring term). Applicants must be available to work on campus during this time. Working schedule is 4-8 hours per week.
