DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond invites applications for a Student TA – CG-2001 (Samson), working Wednesdays 2:00–4:50 p.m. in the MELIES Lecture.
The role supports the instructor during class and lab hours and requires current DigiPen students who can attend scheduled classes.

'Class' is a specific section you attend in person, watching and following the live lecture and monitoring students in person, in the classroom, and/or on its MS Teams Chat to bring questions up to the attention of the instructor in a timely fashion. When online, use your microphone and/or answer questions in writing when answer is short. This assumes you are knowledgeable of the CG-2001 lecture plan posted on Moodle each week and are ready to support the instructor and students.
'Lab Hours' are blocks of times of your choosing and fitting your weekly schedule, you will be advertising those hours at the beginning of the semester. During Lab Hours, you are assumed to be available, either on campus or for video calls on MS Teams, to share screens, and to answer chat and email questions related to CG-2001 notions and assignments. This assumes you are knowledgeable of the CG-2001 lecture plan posted on Moodle each week and are ready to offer support directly related to the students’ current assignments.

$16.66 - 17.75 per hour, depending on number of terms worked at DigiPen

Once you have applied for – and the supervisor decides to offer you – a position, we will contact the necessary managers (Supervisor, Department Chair, and/or the Dean of Faculty) to complete and sign off on an Academic Waiver form, depending on which requirements need to be waived. Once the Waiver is returned to us, we'll continue you through the hiring process.
