Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH, seeks a Student Support Specialist to join our Education/Bonner Academy team. You will provide one-on-one and small group instructional support, assist with assignments, and help clients develop social, behavioral, communication, and life skills in a trauma-informed environment.

You will contribute to classroom management, support transitions between classes, and promote a safe, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• QMHS eligible and three years of mental health experience.
• Active driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support.
• Assist clients with completing academic assignments and activities.
• Support clients in developing social, behavioral, communication, and life skills.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Assist clients transitions between classes and activities; promote a trauma-informed environment.
