Job summary

Leona Group Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional (ESS) to assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and supporting students with diverse needs across Arizona campuses. You will work directly with teachers to provide individualized or small-group support and help maintain a safe, structured classroom environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in instructional support, proven reading/writing/math skills, and an IVP fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

Evidence of successful experience in student relations.
Strong reading, writing and math skills meeting state requirements.
Experience in tutoring or instructional support.

Responsibilities

Assist Exceptional Student Services classroom teacher in delivering instruction.
Provide individualized or small-group support aligned with lesson plans.
Maintain safe, supportive classroom environments and assist with behavior management.
Attend conferences to collaborate with families and teachers.
Assist with non-teaching tasks such as materials prep and supervision.
In teacher absence, provide instruction following lesson plans.
Maintain confidentiality of student records and required documentation.
Support school teams and extracurricular activities as needed.
