Responsibilities

• Provides support to individual students, small groups, or full classes under the supervision of a certified teacher.
• Provides information about students to assist teachers in developing learning and behavioral experiences.
• Assists students in using instructional resources and accessing programs across areas such as language, arts, music, and life skills.
• Assists teacher with related instructional tasks (copying, filing, attendance sheets).
• Assists students with health-related activities as appropriate.
• May coordinate parent/student workshops and supervise lunch, computer lab, library, or bus duty.
• Interfaces with parents and staff and assists the attendance office.
• Attends to the building copy room and processes copying jobs for staff.
