Reports to: School Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist students with instructional support
• Work with students individually and in small groups
• Supervise students outside the classroom, including the lunchroom, playground, chapel, and hallway
• Work collaboratively with teachers to help deliver instruction and manage behaviors

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of child development, learning strategies, and classroom management
• Strong communication with both adults and students
• Ability to maintain a positive attitudeAbility to assist with lessons, follow directions, and provide behavioral support
• Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management skills
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism in diverse learning environments
• Familiarity with school policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards

Education and Experience

• Must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment Certification
• Previous education and/or childcare experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish helpful
