Menta Academy Yuma in Yuma, AZ seeks a Social Worker Clinician Counselor to provide direct educational and social services to students and collaborate with parents, educators, and professionals to create supportive learning environments.

The role entails a 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday, on a 10-month calendar with benefits including medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, a 403(b), and generous paid time off. One license from the specified groups is required.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed licenses (Social Work or ADE school certifications).
• 10-month position with 12-month pay.

Responsibilities

• Employ data-based decision-making with multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches.
• Build leadership to help students succeed.
• Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions.
• Monitor and report student progress and complete evaluations and program assessments.
• Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary.
