Job summary

iLEAD California Charters is seeking a Care Team - Student Support Aide to provide instructional assistance to students with special needs and to support classroom activities across campus.

Under the supervision of the School Director, you will help navigate lessons, supervise transitions, support social-emotional learning, and aid in assessments. This role requires strong communication and collaboration in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional assistance to special education students and navigate instructions and assignments.
• Guide learners and help with transitions around campus.
• Assist with daily routines (e.g., eating, bathroom, transportation) as needed.
• Monitor and record learner progress or behavior; assist with related services.
• Prepare lesson plans with general education staff to fit learner needs.
• Assist with administration of assessments and maintain orderly learning environments.
• Attend parent conferences and IEP meetings as requested.
